The week between Christmas and New Years for me is always a very nebulous time. Days and time are fairly meaningless and I seem to sleep a lot, and read and watch movies.
It did have one shoot that week, and it was a big deal because she needed new photos for an article in a magazine this month. Robin called and booked this shoot weeks ago.
Last December I have gotten so many phone calls from folks needing family portraits on exactly December 26th at 9am. Or one call from a person on a Thursday who was going to be featured in a magazine and needed to come in Saturday. In December. There’s just no way. December Saturdays have been booked for a while now.
It breaks my heart when I can’t help people with my favorite thing to do. It’s missed opportunity for all of us. And it’s just because these people didn’t plan ahead.
