I’m obsessed with portrait photography because I’m obsessed with people, what it means to be human and the magic of the unseen connection we share. I get nervous sharing this with people. I shouldn’t, because it’s really fun to talk about my obsession, but I do. Case in point, how incredibly nervous I was getting on a TEDx stage and talking about one piece of the puzzle. Beauty… it’s what I wrote my senior thesis on in college. It’s what I wrangle with every day. It’s a conversation I have with just about every client. It’s a very shiny facet of what it means to be human.
