I had deep things I was going to talk about with you today. But, I just had a shoot with a dear friend and she dropped a bomb on me.
She is an RN who retired from the ER to work as a med-spa laser / injectionist. I’m not necessarily one to go in for all that, but having a big scar on my nose from last year’s skin cancer surgery has made me curious.
If anyone was going to shoot lasers or needles into my face, it would have to be a legit medical professional… like my friend. She’s amazing, and lovely and a straight-shooter.
When I complained this week to her about sun damage when I’ve used sunscreen every single day since I was 13, she asked if I use a teaspoon on my face every time. A TEASPOON!! Of goopy think sunscreen just for my face! And another teaspoon for my neck. Ugh. I haven’t been doing that…
Her tip is to use half a teaspoon, let it absorb and put on another teaspoon.
