If you know me, you know I’m not kidding.
When it comes to giving back and paying forward, I’m most passionate about helping those who have no voice. Those who are most at our adult human mercy. And who frequently suffer because sh*t happened and adult humans are sometimes inhuman.
So, I spend a lot of my time, energy, money with Larimer Humane, Realities for Children, and Greenwood Wildlife Rescue. I also spend a lot of my time / energy / money at Wizard Academy. It’s wacky place where brilliant people teach genius and you’re surrounded by beauty and a spirit of adventure. It’s the kind of place where if you say something like “hey, it’d be really great if there was a swimming pool.” The answer will be “Great, you’re in charge.”
So when I learned about the kitty that showed up a couple weeks ago, I didn’t even bother saying “hey, someone should make sure she’s spayed and vaccinated.” I just put myself in charge. The ever-amazing staff at Wizard Academy was already feeding her. So I’m just making sure there is money and organization for her in a responsible adulting kinda way.
