Frozen Princess Becomes An Ice Queen

I didn't intend for it to happen like this, but it just sorta did. I wanted to do a misty, frozen-looking queen shoot with a more fashion look about it. Sarah Renee, my partner in photo shoot crime, wanted to do something pretty and girly. No problem. I'll get two dresses, we'll do a hair and makeup change and voila, we'll have both looks in one shoot. And so we did, and when I got to editing the photos I realized that Sarah's version was very Frozen Princess and my version was then more Ice Queen.

And the best part (for me) of this whole shoot, besides the fog machine, was that I got Sarah Renee to be the princess and the queen for the day!  If you'd like to see how this came together, check out our behind-the-scenes video.
