It’s still a new year and Target is full of heart-shaped things. My sweet BF of 3 years and I have been reading and talking about The 5 Love Languages. All these things together really have me thinking about love and wondering how best to express it. It’s dawned on me that my way of expressing love might not always be understood by the intended recipient. This applies to friends and my clients as well. And so I had a moment of terror when I first wondered if you, my clients, know how grateful I am for you and how much I love you. Really. Photographing you is intense. I get to see you in various states of you-ness and stare deep into your soul with my camera. And I get to see you with your family and kids. I get to learn about your life and business. Then I come home and spend some hours staring at your photos—processing, editing, fixing rogue hairs. By the end of the photo session cycle, I totally love you.
So, I want to know if you feel loved. And if not, what can your compact, mush-hearted,LOVE-land photographer do so that you do feel loved? Answer in the comments or email me at christina [at] photocg . co
