I had lunch with one of my favorite teenagers yesterday. She’s 16 and visiting Denver with a school club competition thing.

It’s a big deal that they sent her here for the thing, but I’m not sure she realizes it. And she’s apprehensive of leaving the nest in a couple years, and I’m gonna tell you what I told her.
