Crystal and Dustin already did engagement photos with their wedding photographer. They loved those photos, but they had an itch for something more unique to them and more "them" for their save-the-dates.
Crystal has been playing Settlers of Catan since childhood. She's roped so many friends and family into playing along the way, that now it's pretty much the past time they can enjoy with anyone they love. Dustin is even headed to the National Championship of Catan later this month!
So, I printed this Catan-style wheat field backdrop and picked the blue dress out from my studio wardrobe. They arrived with their 2 Frenchies, and we made some great photos. I had this idea of the dogs sitting in the basket, but the dogs weren't having it at all!
