The Holidays, they’re coming…
We’re having some hot sunny days here, and I’m snowing on your parade. I know it’s harsh, but it’s in the spirit of love.
First, I want to say that family portraits and sessions with Mom aren’t just for people whose family all gets along and are besties. In fact, since most of our families are a little… complicated… it’s that much more important to share a portrait experience. These are the people you love, but don’t always like… right? I did a portrait session with my mom… and even with our wacky relationship, it was fun and I’m so happy we did it. (scroll down to see…)
So, if you have family coming into town for Thanksgiving or Christmas and you’d like a portrait session while everyone is here, now is the time to plan it! If you want family portraits for your Christmas cards, now is the time to plan that. If you’d sorta like to plan a family session, but you have that one person who is going to be problematic, let it be my problem. I love working with kids and dads who don’t want to be a part of any of it. I love working with moms who want things just so. And I really love navigating your relationships and being a position where I can remind everyone that you all love and care about each other.
